signs of the times.

This will possibly be my last "regular" post for a while as i have instructed a friend to lock me out of several of my Internet accounts so that i have no choice but to study.

I forgot my student card today and couldn't get into the Library. Before i discovered this however i took a stroll around Dublin, mainly the city centre and the furthest i went was Bolton street but that was to fulfill my Jolt cola product testing needs!

The "successful" result of College greens "quality" bus corridor:

A queue of buses bound to go up Lower Grafton Street and onto Nassau Street is stuck in college green because of the traffic.

From what i can tell this is a counter effect of buses being able to head north trough college green onto Westmoreland street far faster than before meaning several routes reach College green going south far faster than before, and thus are getting stuck by the mass of bus stops and smaller lanes of Lower Grafton Street and Nassau Street. Great planning don't you think!

Most of the buses heading west must have made good time bringing all these south/east buses to the College Green far to quickly and they get stuck.

I hate to imagine if the BX Luas was ever built and coming down Lower Grafton Street....

It's actually just normal jolt cola. The Blue and Orange are new flavours, this can seems to be pointless. Also the stock of these drinks has all but disappeared everywhere i found them. This was the last red one i could find, ANYWHERE! There was plenty of normal bottles, and a lot of Orange one's left...

A fading and ripped Obama Poster on the side of a Litter bin on the southside of the Millennium bridge along the quays.

And an Old tree has passed. At 130 the tree at the Nassau Street entrance had to be removed due to a fungal infection of some kind:

It will be missed.

I don't know what it's replacement will be but a new tree or a sculpture would be nice.

Or maybe salvage one of the tree's that will be removed from St Stephens Green when the Metro/Interconnector Station begins construction at some arbitrary point in the next few years....
